My purpose is to explore new career possibilities in an intelligence-friendly environment. As a Phi Beta Kappa, and a member of both Mensa and Intertel, I would be interested in an intellectually stimulating position in an environment where intelligence and creativity are viewed as assets, and where gender and age discrimination are minimal to non-existant.

We are just beginning our e-learning project. My responsibilities include researching the subject to understand technologies, methods, and tools that might serve our needs and developing a strategy for incorporating e-learning in our training function.
As a part of this job, I'm taking classes to prepare me to be our first e-learning developer and have formed a cross-functional committee of subject matter experts to participate in both the research and in creating a strategy for creating an effective e-learning environment.
I am also serving as the Training Project Lead for the rollout of a new software package. Responsibilities include creating a training schedule, coordinating resources, and working with vendor training personnel. This is a temporary assignment.

Training - History
- Designed and delivered beginning computer classes in Windows 3.1 environment for
aircraft maintenance personnel and new employees as required, including Microsoft
Office products.
- Introductory classes for rollout of proprietary aircraft maintenance program and
flight management and reservation system software. Initial training in reservation
entry procedures for new customer service employees and flight managers/dispatchers, in
collaboration with departmental trainers. On-going support for current employees.
- Initial overview of flight management/reservation system for all new employees in
recurring classes.
- Company-wide training and support for upgrades to Windows NT platform, Microsoft
Office 97, and rollout of GroupWise E-mail.
- Recurring classes, one-on-one coaching, and help with special projects for beginning
and intermediate levels of Word 97, Excel 97, and PowerPoint, FrontPage, and HTML.
- Training and support for various software packages as needed, including Visio,
Arts & Letters Express, PageMaker and Serif, Access, Act!, etc.
Writing:
- Oversee contract writers in developing job aids and instructional materials for
new flight management and reservation system software. Includes rewrites, design, and final
edits.

- Handouts and 'cheat sheets' for proprietary and commercial software, including special
topics, e.g. mail merge, document automation, etc.
